The government's Gift Aid scheme means that for every pound you give to The Guild, it will receive an extra 28p from the taxman at no extra cost to you.
For example:
If you donate £1,000
The taxman will add £282.00
Mary Feilding Guild will receive a total of £1,282.00
Who is eligible?
You must be a UK taxpayer. If you are retired you may still pay tax on your pension and savings, so most people qualify.
You should be paying income tax or capital gains tax equal to the amount Mary Feilding Guild can reclaim on your donations in any particular year, currently 28p for every £1.

A single lady who trained as a nurse in the second world war. She lived in hospital accommodation and then in rented council accommodation. Having only a small pension and little savings, she would have been unable to come to the Guild without our help.
